Quoted me $2993 to replace my hot water tank and tried to gaslight me when I pushed back on the insanity of that price.nnI would never recommend.nnMr. Waterheater replaced it the same day and for less than 1/2 the amount.

Had to redo all the work they did after paying around $3,000 dollars. We had a bursted pipe. The connectors they did were cheap and weak.nnA year later, I had to fix all the connectors. The professional plumbers who came in after to give quotes were way more knowledgable. If the price had been affordable, I could look the other way, but at this price, it should not have been this problematic.nnThey send inexperienced, young plumbers.

Do you think it should cost $975.00 - a $100.00 coupon total cost of $875.00 just to replace a main line valve, which only took 1& 1/2 hours to install? They say PROUDLY one flat rate on their website. However they won't tell you what it is on the phone. The plumbers were excellent but the PRICE GAUGING WAS RIDICULOUS.nAnd did I mention it was sitting right there in my basement, NOT UNDERGROUND!!! Google it to see how much they say it SHOULD COST YOU.nIt was a PLAIN SHUT OFF VALVE that they had in their truck.

My hot water heater had to be replaced. It was leaking (from corrosion) and wasn't working anymore. It had 19 years of service, which was very good, especially because I did not flush it every other year as they recommended. Lime builds up in the hot water heater in time because of the hard water in Moon Township and eventually the sludge (lime) corrodes the hot water heater. Josh Farabaugh and his helper Jose came very quickly to help me. I called them the night before and they came the next day, which I wanted. I lived without the hot water and using towels for the water leakage overnight. Josh and Jose were quick, professional and very courteous. My hot water heater was replaced, and the water feed valves were brought up to code for Allegheny County.

Our main sewer line was clogged. They came to our house within an hour of my call the day before Thanksgiving. Gabe Vasquez was very professional and quickly remedied the problem. There was no cost since it was covered under the Mr Rooter 6 month warranty.

We had a garage drain partial sewerage clog on a Saturday of all days, and Tyler Smith came to the rescue. He fixed it in a jiffy and explained all of the logistics as to what was causing the clog (we have very old clay pipes that separated due to a shift in the home). Eventually, we will have to get that pipe replaced, but he also gave us ideas on how to maintain it. I highly recommend Tyler. He also repaired our bathtub overflow a few months back, and he’s a great technician and just a wonderful person. If you are lucky enough to have him as your tech., your plumbing is in amazing hands. Absolutely Terrible Experience. Called to have a drain snaked with the $95 special. Plumber came out, manually put the snake in the drain and refused to turn on the snake. Said, ”I found the clog but I’m not sure if I can push past it for only the $95 discount.” I called the dispatcher again and explained what was happening and mentioned the snake wasn’t even being turned on… Guy says to me, “I’m sorry I didn’t know you were a professional plumber.” Are You kidding me? The lack of respect and basic understanding is ridiculous!nnBeing told one price then told 3x the price, then being disrespected when calling and asking for help with an employee, is crazy. Will never call them again.

We have been customers for some time. On Nov 3rd I noticed water around our water heater. They were able to send some on out within a couple of hours. when Adam Barnes arrived he did a thorough assessment and discovered it was note the water heater. We had some pin hole leaks in the pipes above the water heater. Adam explained the problem and discussed options to fix the problem.Adam was very professional and did a fantastic job.

Charlene took my message that we had a backed up house drain . I told her it wasn’t really an emergency but she said she could have someone here tonight! I was shocked. The scheduler called and said Adam would be here in an hour and he showed up promptly.nHe was very courteous and explained everything thoroughly. The clog was a challenge, and it took almost all of the cable to clear it. The water just started to flow well when the rooter stopped dead, forcing Adam to pull the cable by hand the whole way. No complaining or cursing, just getting the job done.nI had asked Adam for some estimates on a few other things that we may need and he emailed them to me promptly.nAll around, I am very pleased with Adam and Mr. Rooter.nnRandy Gaysek

I discovered yesterday that my toilet was leaking and the technician, Tyler Harris, arrived within an hour. He assessed the problem and clearly explained the options. He had to cut a hole in the ceiling below the toilet to confirm the source and severity of the leak and determined that only the toilet's wax ring had to be replaced and that fortunately no pipes had to be repaired or replaced. Tyler completed the job efficiently and made sure that the problem was completely resolved. He also did a very good job in cleaning up both work areas when the job was complete. I would definitely request Tyler again if I need future plumbing work.

I used Mr. Rooter Plumbing as an emergency service in the evening due to sewage back up. The dispatcher was very kind, set expectations and had a tech there within a reasonable amount of time. Tyler Smith was the plumber. He was pleasant, thorough and knowledgable. For a problem that happened after business hours, I was very impressed with the level of service I received.

Within an hour of calling, the truck pulled into my driveway. I had a sewage backup 5 months ago and when it happened again, I called the company that was here the first time. Travis Brenot was fantastic. Explained every step of the process as he diagnosed the source of our sewer line issue. Showed us with camera exactly where there was blockage. Removed toilet completely, snaked the entire line, replaced toilet and no sign he was there. Very professional and thorough.

We had a basement that flooded due to a clogged drain. We paid for a technician to come out, they suggested that we remove the deck boards on our front porch to access a drain. We ended up calling a local plumber for second opinion who fixed the drained clog in less than 15 minutes. He also educated us on how to instruct plumbers for future jobs. Additionally, the technician spoke to my wife as if she was a child. Really disappointed with this service.

Do not call. I placed a service call to fix my hot water heater. I had the parts already, I just needed them installed. They charge $89.00 just for the service call, more if you use a card. The fee then goes towards the cost of repair. First the tech said he doesn't know alot about hot water heaters but he'll figure it out. He got on his I pad and said it would benalmost $900.00 to install the parts I was providing. Obviously I did not pay that, that's more than the hot water cost 5 years ago. I had a real plumber come and he got the pilot light lit in less than a minute. Mr Rooter didn't even look at the water heater. Look elsewhere!nnThis is an add on to my review. The owner of Mr. Rooter reached out with a phone number, I called them twice and the person on the phone said they will let management know. We'll it's been over a week and I never heard from them. The bottom line is they sent an unqualified tech out and charged me over $90.00, he didn't even actually look at the water heater, he just got on his I pad and said it would be $900.00 to install the parts I was providing. Another plumber came and had the pilot light lit in under a minute. Do not use or trust this company. They say to call on Google reviews but that is just for show, they don't return your calls.
