Anthony and Anthony came to my home to provide an estimate for a tub leaking water from the second floor to the first floor. They provided a competitive estimate and repaired the leak within days. They are professional, cleaned up and removed little Sheetrock that can easily be replaced. I also appreciate getting a short time window when I can expect their arrival. EDIT: Updating because we had them out again. They've changed their name to Ring the Bell. We needed a some arrestors added and a valve replaced. Anthony & Anthony - yes, this is the second time two guys with the same name showed up to help us - showed up, assessed what we needed, and were done in a couple hours. The plumbing is WAY quieter now, and the valve controlling the outdoor pipes no longer leaks. Great work as usual, will 100% call RtB again in the future!nnJohn Snyder Plumbing is just great. We've hired them twice in the past year - first, George & George came out to install a new dishwasher, then Xavier & John came out to replace our hot water heater. Both times I found their work exceptional, their attitudes were really great, and the prices reasonable for the level of detail and work done. We've had some problem plumbing stuff that we've been putting off having done because we've had some bum plumbers out to the house in the past ten years, but I'll be in touch with JSP&H again soon to get all that done, too.

Anthony & Anthony were great, the circulator pump on my boiler was making a lot of noise, i initially thought someone was jackhammering outside but it turned out to be this part. They came in and bled out the system twice from a central location, replaced this part along with the expansion tank. A few hours later they were all finished. Noticed later on that night that the bedrooms were not getting heat, texted the number those guys called from and got an immediate response from the Owner John. He came out the next day and trouble shot the house, bled out the bedroom baseboards as they were not able to be bled out centrally. Up and running. Its nice to see such ownership of the work. These things don't diagnose themselves and can be tricky. I've worked with a few other plumbers in the area and these guys are reasonably priced and stand by their work!! Nice Job, would definitely recommend to anyone in the Roxborough / Manayunk / surrounding areas.

I needed to have a gas line installed for a new gas dryer as well as connections made to relocate the washer. The technicians were polite, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. They were able to quote me on the exact work and materials that needed to be done in minutes and they were able to complete it the very same day. They even moved and connected my existing washer for me. The guys offered additional advice on other heating and water heating projects I may also need to be completed. Once I had received my new dryer they even completed the installation with no additional charges. I would highly recommend Ring the Bell Plumbing to anyone.

I've used John Snyder Plumbing twice now: first to install my tankless water heater (from a tank system) and then to service the tankless when it was due for that. Everyone I've dealt with from the company has been very friendly and helpful. Xavier and Anthony were great! They quickly realized the issue and made the necessary repairs to our toilet. John and team came out in no time. Although I thought I had an emergency on my hands, he calmed me down and assured menI didn’t. Which saved me money! I showed him the problem, explained whatI had done to try and fix it (he didn't charge me extra for that), took a look to confirm what the problem was, explained what he would do and what it would cost. He left for a few minutes to get the necessary parts, returned and installed everything all in about an hour. Everything is working now. Good job.

I highly recommend John Snyder. I called for an appointment and John was at my house the next day. He’s very polite, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. He fixed the problem I was having with my radiators and explained everything to me. He also pointed out a few things he noticed about my boiler and gave me recommendations to either replace a few parts or the entire thing. He gave me an idea of how much each would cost without pressuring me. I asked him about a few other things I needed done in the house regarding plumbing and again he explained everything to me. Xavier was a competent professional. He was careful and thoughtful. The job was well done I called four (4) other plumbers in the area. One group came and the estimate grew every 30 seconds. The next person came and had to go “get the parts”. He never returned. The other two didn’t return calls. I have other projects to do that will require Xavier’s assistance. Great guy. Great work.

I had tried to contact a recommended plumber on 3 different occasions with no response. I found John Syder Plumbing & Heating online and gave them a call. I called late on a Thursday they quoted Tuesday, then showed up on a Tuesday. Job was for toilet replacement. Had to haggle the price as what they quoted me to start with was much higher than what the other two places had but they matched to do the job. I did not ask them to do disposal but Xaiver the plumber who came out assisted me at least getting the old toilet into the box. He cleaned up after himself didn't mess up anything in the home. Only star marked off is for the fact I haggle the price down.

Really great experience! John Snyder installed our water heater two years ago. It's been running great the whole time. I just wanted to have it serviced to make sure we're maintaining it properly and to have it checked for any early damage. We also had 3 areas in the house where the wife and I have been hearing some dripping sounds and were getting a bit concerned.nnI called John Snyder's company and was able to schedule an appointment within a few days. I received text confirmation that the appointment had been scheduled, which I really liked. On the day, I also received a text that John was on his way. I really like the constant updates so that I know what's happening.nnJohn came on time. He was very polite and professional. I talked to him about all the potential leaks we were having and on the spot he gave me his professional opinion on each and every one of them. It was very clear that John's been in the game for a long time, he really knows his stuff and can describe everything down to the finest details.nnHe did the water heater service within half an hour. I'm the type of person that likes to ask lots of questions and to understand fully what the issues with my things are. He was very comfortable answering all my questions and was very patientnnI wouldn't go anywhere else! Very satisfied with the experience and have some piece of mind that my water heater is being maintained by a trustworthy professionalnnUpdate Dec 22:nnThe water pressure in our shower and one of our faucets had become really low, to the point where it was really bothering us. I was scared that it was a blocked pipe that was going to be really expensive to repair. We set up an appointment. Xavier came and figured out within a few seconds that the issue was not a blocked pipe but that the filters had become worn out. He replaced the filters and showed me the old ones and how they had broken apart over time and blocked the flow of water. Instant fix, now our shower and faucet are operating with full pressure again. Xavier was so nice, friendly and professional. Such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!nnUpdate Mar 23:nMy wife was taking a shower. I was downstairs and heard some dripping in our utility room, which is directly above the shower. Open the door and saw lots of water pouring down. Called John Snyder the next morning and thankfully they were able to make an appointment for that day. Xavier and Anthony came in and did their tests to isolate the problem quickly. They explained to me that they needed to replace some worn out piping and explained to me how the leak could've happened. They were upfront and transparent about the price and how long it would take to complete. We made an appointment for two days later. They came on time and did all the work in less than 2 hours. They showed me the piece of piping they had to cut out and I saw the giant crack in the pipe from where the water was leaking. Once they did the repairs they did extensive testing to make sure that everything was working 100%. Another friendly and professional job by Xavier and Anthony. We have our shower back and working great. Thank you!nnUpdate Dev 2024:nWe got a new fridge/freezer and the installers said that the existing drinking water tube was not compatible with the new fridge and we needed a wider one. I called John Snyder and they sent out Xavier, who was able to get the new tube installed in no time and worked perfectly first time
