Had a problem with our pipe connected to the septic. Called to get someone out there and Tanya was very helpful and got a technician out there the next day. Leo came out and reviewed the problem and came back the next day to fix it. Great customer service. Will definitely use them again.

They come out very quickly- same day- within an hour of my call. They were able to put a camera down and find that we have roots growing through the pipe going out to the street. The only drawback was the very high price. It was $750 and they were here for only an hour.

Joe Campisi from RotoRooter was amazing ! Quick response ! Knew exactly what happened. We noticed the plumber accidentally unplugged the sump pump to the apartment downstairs. It's different. I'm on City water and SEWER ! As soon as he said, " What does this plug go to " ? I almost died and said, oh my goodness, They unplugged the pump that needs to be plugged in at all times. As soon as tenant flushed her toilet water immediately started coming up from the pump. Thanks so much Joe !!! What a nice guy. They sent someone out to clean up too. He drove 45 minutes. They were fantastic. I called Momday and there was someone at my house Tuesday morning. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Highly recommend. The service exceeded my expectations. I had a leak from my washing machine in my basement and contacted Roto-Rooter to clear the clog. In addition to the plumber, a representative came out to inspect the floors and walls for water damage. Using specialized equipment, they detected moisture and clearly explained that without removing the flooring, the area would not properly dry and mold could develop.
They were present when the insurance representative arrived, reviewed the findings together, and walked me through every step of the process to have my basement cleaned, sanitized, and the flooring replaced. I had no idea Roto-Rooter offered this level of support and guidance. They will definitely be my go-to company moving forward.

Alan did a wonderful job! I never heard of this company and didn't know the difference between rooter vs plumber all I know they do similar jobs. I spotted a lot of positive reviews. Yes I was aware they will be expensive but plumber's are not known to be cheap. I was getting a new countertop and I needed him to disconnect everything underneath the double stainless steel sink in my condo. That only cost $125. I also ask him to check the toilets before he disconnected the sink and see if it normal and he explained about the two different buttons on top of the toilet. I am not use to having fancy toilet. Low water is normal. So it was free consultant. He came back Thursday after the kitchen countertop people installed the countertop Wednesday and reconnected the new single raise sink and faucets hand motion and a different drainer I bought from Amazon I didn't like the one it came with. I am very pleased with everything. It was extremely expensive but it was worth it.

The technician who came to my property was very helpful and that’s why they get two stars. Other than him, the service was poor. We had an appointment between 10-12. Around 11:50, we called to see what time the tech was coming. The person who answered said “you were on our list to call about a schedule change.” They unilaterally moved our appointment to 2-4 without the courtesy of a call. The reason was a truck broke which happens but the lack of a courtesy call was frustrating because we wasted our morning looking out for the tech. They clearly knew about the issue before 11:50 and made no effort to let us know. Unfortunate first contact with Roto Rooter.

I had Roto-Rooter come to fix my toilet in 3 different occasion do to a leaky seal. They have failed to seal a simple toilet and charged an astronomical amount each time they came here. Please if you need some work done, do not go through Roto-Rooter for they are not experienced enough to do actual plumbing work and they will bring you down the rabbit hole on pricing.

I want to start by saying that Leo, the guy that came by was great and clearly knowledgeable. Problem is that the way they price things out seems purposely vague in order to charge you huge add ons without you realizing. I only wanted a basic maintenance visit, but I was never quoted for basic maintenance, just immediately quoted almost $1000 for a bunch of potential problems I didn’t end up having. $980 for a 1-2 hour visit is honestly unacceptable, especially if I was never even told a lower price was an option. I called to share my surprise and was simply told that it’s a set price that benefits people with large complicated jobs with no consideration for people that needed almost no work done and just have to eat the extra price just in case it got more complicated. It would do a lot of good if they were kind enough to cut the charge people that didn’t end up needing all of the extra services they told their customers were very important to use

Customer service is alive! I had an issue that needed attention sooner rather than later. I made an appointment online figuring I most likely couldn’t get an appointment for the next day, so I selected an appointment two days out. I was shocked when my phone rang and they told me they could be at my house within a few hours.
Alan, who came to my house, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and a skilled technician who took his time with me to make sure we were addressing the entire issue and not simply creating a stop gap for someone else down the road.

$750 to snake the toilet… technician told us this is the cheapest option and it only goes up from there. This was conveniently after he was already here with a $125 trip fee because the office won’t tell you any pricing, not even the floor price, which this was according to the guy here.

Recently we had a block drain in out kitchen sink. We tried several methods to unblock the drain, with no sucess.
So, we called the local Roto-Rooter company for help. They came the same day. After some effort, the drain blockade was cleared. and we had our kitchen sink back again.
in addition to clearing the drain the plumber, who was a good guy, gave us excellent advice on products and methods to keep our drains clear in the future. We VeryMuch appreciate his advice and the company's quick response to our problem.

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The tech arrived at the appointed time. He was clear in his explanation of his service, was apparently efficient in his task, solved the problem & was helpful in advising me on my next steps to monitor the situation.

Had an issue with my toilet and Tim from Rotor Rooter was prompt, even being the only one on call on a Sunday. He was very helpful and had the utmost professional support a person can ask for. He fixed the issue quickly and took steps to ensure the issue was resolved. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome and was fairly priced.

The service I needed was performed flawlessly and I really appreciate the person who did the work.
Not so sure it was worth the money though. Not being able to be told the cost when asked before they got there doesn't sit well with me. I feel taken advantage of. Once they are there I can't very well shop around for a more competitive price.

Easy to work with company. Made a request online. Received a call early the next morning. And within a few hours a roto rooter employee was at my house clearing my drain. They recommended best upkeep going forward, and even explained the exact scope of work that needs to be done to truly fix my drain going forward. That last part is huge because I can now confidently find a contractor to complete my drain replacement, knowing the scope of work that needs to be done, so I don't get take advantage of going forward. Thanks team!

Roto-Rooter was very reliable and performed excellent service. The plumber was Alan and I was 100% satisfied. He fixed the plumbing issue and cleaned up after himself. Recommend using them to anyone.

Notwithstanding a major snowstorm , Tim responded to our plea and came out on a Sunday. He familiarized himself with the history of our roots issue and confidently put his grinder to work. At 82 feet he encountered the roots and maneuver it to solve the problem. He.explained potential long-term issues. Knowledgeable and experienced and personable. High marks!
