The Roto-Rooter team that came to address our plumbing problem was awesome! Albert & Dominic were on-time, professional AND super friendly, and didn't mind me following them around while asking questions so I could learn how to fix future problems in our new home. The pricing for services was a bit more than I expected but Albert explained the process and, well, my problems were fixed by pros so I can't complain too much ... but "valued customer discount" for a future visit would be great ;)
Something else I learned during their work call: Roto-Rooter will do same-day and/or weekend calls without an extra service fee or charge. Good to know....I guess next time I can try my hand at any future plumbing issues knowing they are available to save me if my efforts go awry!

Chris was an incredible worker. He encountered a system of pipes that was created when our home was updated 30 years ago and had to figure out how to clear the line which was difficult as it was plugged. It took several runs with the small and then the large snake. Chris, working alone without an assistant, had to carry in and out each piece of equipment and had to determine how to get a clog at the end of the pipe to let go! It was amazing the skill with which he accomplished all this. I turn 80 this year and have worked as an assistant with one of my uncles who was a master plumber. I know the kind of challenges plumbers often encounter. Chris was so effective, competent and pleasant in spite of the challenge he had to overcome, that my wife and I wanted to share our appreciation of his skill and his friendly demeanor. He is a credit to your crew. If we have another plumbing challenge, it is for certain that we will ask for Chris!

Our Kitchen sink was backed up. We called in the morning to schedule a service call. The Associate who answered the phone was very pleasant and confirmed there was a tech available to provide service the same day. They did give a us a 4 hour window for the service call but told us we would have 30 minutes notice when the tech was on the way. Received a call later in the day they were running behind and would keep us posted on the availability of the technician. We did finally receive service about 30 minutes outside the 4 hour window they provided. However, we were okay with that because they kept us posted throughout the day and we did receive 30 minute notice before the arrival of the technician. Our technician was Jason. He was very courteous, & professional. He was able to run a snake through our kitchen pipes and clear the drains. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service. This is the third time we have used Roto Rooter and we would use them again. Although we did feel the price was a little high for the work that was completed.

I called on Saturday and was told someone would be at my house between 4-8. At 7 I received a call that I was 6th in line so they wouldn’t make it but would come the next day between 12-4. They also said I would get a call at 12 letting me know what was happening. At 1 I called and was told they called an old phone number to tell me they couldn’t come even though they confirmed my number the day before. I wish they would have been honest from the beginning so I could have called someone else who had availability to fix my sink.

I’m gonna edit this after the fact and on a different job but same company, while leaving my compliments to Bob and Bob below because they weren’t involved.
These people are a ripoff to residential customers. I had a problem with my drain tile, the same one Bob and Bob cleared. The issue persisted for years. Finally they came out and told me it would be $3000 to fix completely. Water was coming into my basement. So I agreed, I shouldn’t have because it was not a lot of water, I should have gotten a second opinion.
They showed up with a crew of two, and it took them about an hour to dig up the connector, by hand, from my house to the roadside drainage network, install a new connector from my house to the system (this is not sewer, it is just for gutter water into ditch drainage) and very poorly cover it back up.
They made it seem, at the time of the quote, like it was a big deal. They did the job fine, it was just a case of people who know ripping someone off. Don’t use them, if you do because it’s an emergency, get a second opinion. You’ve been warned.
Bob and Bob cleared my issue right up, quickly. They were friendly, professional, on time, and great communicators. It's easy to make the choice again of who I'm going to call with other issues. Thanks guys.

At first, the service visit was a solid A. Technician arrived and attempted to fix the clogged pipe. He did get it unclogged. He also fixed something else for free. I was happy with the service.
Then two hours later, Roto Rooter showed back up with two different gentlemen with better equipment. They had spoken to the technician and just wanted to make 100% sure that the pipe was not broken and that my problem was solved, as I have a very long driveway and pipe that they needed to work on. Seriously?? This is above and beyond. They did this at no additional charge.
I have a lot of peace of mind that my issue is fixed and got actual attention and care, which is rare nowadays. A++++ will absolutely use them again and you should too.

Scheduled on Thursday!!! They continued to cancel!! For three days every hour I received text saying they were running behind and I was next. I have terminal cancer and my mud room was flooded out for three days!!! Finally on Sunday I had to call and cancel on them!! Dispatcher ( Joy) was rude and inconsiderate!!! Used them before and spent thousands of dollars on repairs!!! Shame on you!!!

Replaced burned out sump pump. Took less than 30 minutes but charged $1,450.00. Originally told insurance will cover, but had to pay up front. Insurance did not cover it. Restoration and cleannup of water damage seemed excessively long. Took 10 days. Overall though cleanup was very good, and workers were polite. Did seem like they were constantly double booked and always.changing appointment times. That portion was reasonable for all the time and machines they needed to dry out basement. Insurance did cover that portion.

Day one the company never contacted me to let me know they would not make the appointment time. I called an hour and a half after they were supposed to come and I was told my dispatcher would call me back when she was back at her desk. Another 2 hours went by and I called again and I was told the tech would be here in 30 minutes. 2 minutes after I hung up, they called me to cancel and reschedule for the next day. The next day, my birthday, I was called 19 minutes before they were supposed to be at my house and they canceled AGAIN! At this point, they could not even be sure which day they could arrive for certain, due to the storm. I have never dealt with a company that lacked so much consideration for their customers before. Luckily I found a different company to show up and complete the job beautifully.

Albert was the plumber and he is the man! He snaked it out nicely and made sure I knew what was going on. He is exactly the type of person you want to show up in a situation like this. Oh my gosh, what a stressful situation we had and right before Thanksgiving, but Jason Furgala from Roto Rooter saved the day, God sent him as he was the right man for the job, he came on Thanksgiving morning around 10:50am and assessed the situation, gave me options and suggested the method that he thought would work best and boy did he hit the mark, he cleared out the clog was respectful to the house and very relatable and had a great sense of humor as he told some really good jokes to ease the tension. Jason is the man!!!! Our main sewer line was backed up and after calling another plumbing company and waiting over 18 hours, I called Roto Rooter and they were here in 45 minutes! Everett, Mac and Jamie were all very nice and took the time to explain everything to me. When the initial snaking didn’t work, Mac let me know why and they had the hydro jetting truck out the next morning! Luckily, they were able to clear it. They weren’t pushy about extra services and it didn’t seem to me like they recommended anything that wasn’t necessary! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services , emergency or otherwise!

Sewer back up discovered on Sunday and within an hour the team arrived to clear out the clog, also got a good view of the condition of my sewer line with their camera snake. Glad to have advice and recommendations on what could help us! Drain cleared and problem solved quickly!

My hotwater tank went out this morning & Roto Rooter was able to come out within the hour. The technician checked it, explained what happened & had another one ordered & on the way to get it within 30 minutes. When he came back with it I mistakenly thought I had a commercial one (multiple apt units) previously so he was nice enough to call to try to get me one. I then realized I was wrong & he was so nice about it. I believe his name was Arthur. He was very professional, knowledgeable & explained some things to me I did not know. He did a great job! From the time I realized my water tank blew to when it was complete it was maybe 5 or 6 hours. Other places I had called (having forgot about Roto Rooter) weren't even able to get here today & some not until next week. The other places had a service charge just for coming out & Roto Rooter did not. Very happy with the service & the price. Will definitely be calling them in the future.

I made my appointment online. Got a call that day to confirm. The plumber, Albert, was exactly the professional anyone wants doing work for them. Knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, organized. Top notch professional. And, as a bonus he straightened out the rod on my screen door closer so it would close properly. He installed a beautiful brand new hot water heater in record time. I had hot water in an hour. Classy plumber!

I scheduled appointment online and was given a same day appointment between 6-8pm. Great! I planned around that time, had the dog out of the house. 6:25 I get a call saying they have to reschedule due to issue with their truck. I ask for discount and they decline saying they don’t do that, but I’ll be first priority appointment in the morning. Scheduled time 930-1130. Great! Again, 1130 passes and nada. 1142 I call them and I get passed around 3x on the phone with apologies and excuses. They will call me when the technician is available. 1159am I get a text saying they are behind schedule. 1:17pm ignore text saying they are available now. 151 they call to say they are sending technician. At this point I tell them maybe I should say okay and have them show up just for me to no show them. Hours and hours wasted waiting around. Maybe some people have good interactions with this company, but I won’t ever call or recommend them again.

Our rep Michael stopped by and was able to promptly replace our main water valve. They were having a bit of a delay from when I asked to be seen but the call rep kept me informed as well, and the fact that I asked for something same day I was impressed they could come out at all. Michael did an amazing job as our valve is in an odd location and he was very respectful of our home. Price was kinda what we were expecting of having a professional come out to do it. This was our 2 time getting a service with Roto-Rooter and I will definitely return if we need anything else.

Your service technician, Chris Young Identification number as 3623 Came to a difficult and challenging Plumbing project. Fragile brittle rotting galvanized, three-quarter inch domestic waterlines were in need of serious attention in the basement of an apartment complex. Mr. Young came to work prepared with a complete material list and tools in his service to do multiple repairs. Chris Young carefully. Removed the rotting piping, tying into the existing without disturbing any other mainline branches installing new piping, three-quarter inch copper Three-quarter inch ball valves. This was a challenging project to say the least. Chris Young worked tirelessly after replacing several waterlines and shut off valves. He then replaced several bathtub shower valve assembly stems with complete rebuild kits. Saving our agency. Thousands of dollars, without displacing any of our residence. He stayed on task working closely with the residence, living at this campus explaining and working through the plumbing challenges. While all Remaining professional polite, informative while being down to earth, and having a reassuring Calming effect with the residence who were stressed out. He was thoughtful, clean, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. However, I have a plumbing issue in the future. That needs this type of expertise and skill I know exactly who to call. probably the worst experience ever. they were almost 2 hours late from the original scheduled time. the technician was not super friendly and didn’t clean up anything when he was done. i was mortified when i saw the mess he left. probably won’t be using roto rooter again.

Tech came out late on a Sunday night and did not have all the parts needed to complete the job. Instead of doing a bandaid job and leaving. He scheduled a day to come back out to cut out pipes for better fit/ access to avoid future issues

My experience with Albert (our plumber on 5/26/25) was first-class and outstanding. His assessment of our outside downspout and sump pump drains was fast, accurate, and the cost for this service was fair. He took his time. The work was complete within an hour or two, including clean-up
