I can do some basic plumbing but I know enough now to not mess with some things. Brett did a great job replacing our upstairs toilet and replacing 6 either leaking or stuck water shut off valves in various locations. Left each area as clean as it was when he got here and did a good job. This is the second experience I’ve had with SNPH and specifically Brett and were pleased with everything - thanks

I worked with Chuck and Justin and couldn’t be happier. The work was done at my mom’s house, and Chuck kept in contact throughout the process, welcoming any questions and checking in to see if products needed for the job had arrived, which we really appreciated. Justin completed the work, and the workmanship was excellent. Chuck quoted the job exactly—no surprises and no hidden costs. The overall quality was outstanding.
In addition to showing up on time, they texted 15 minutes prior to arrival. True to their word, they kept the appointment even during a major snowstorm.
They were professional, friendly, and offered great pricing. They were also extremely conscientious about keeping the surrounding area clean and neat.

As usual, they fit us in really quickly! I've been using these guys basically since they started, I think! I got totally screwed one too many times from some of the "bigger" names in this area and went searching for a new plumbing service. I have NEVER been over charged! As a matter of fact, the price I was charged today was only $5.00 into the bracket I quoted! Who ever just charges basically $200.00 to come AND FIX 2 ISSUES! They are so wonderful that I now have them delivering our heating oil as well. Any time I see someone on fb looking for a plumber, I JUMP to the opportunity to recommend them.

Andy and his team were awesome. I have 11 household members (4 generations) and I got my wife a granite kitchen countertop and new sink for Christmas to replace our 28-year old delaminating countertop. This required shutting off the sink water and dishwasher for 24 hours for the granite adhesive to cure. I had a high volume 24/7 plumbing company lined up 24 hours later to replumb and install the new sink so we could turn the water back on - they arrived and charged me $99 for an estimate that was based on their standard pricing and amounted to an $800/hour labor rate! I turned them down and faced the prospect of a distraught kitchen-less clan for at least another day, maybe more. I started calling local plumbers with no luck until I called Andy - he appreciated my somewhat dire situation and found a way to have one of his team come over in two hours to get the job done after normal business hours for a very reasonable price. I'm a customer for life now!

Everyone else was booking out far, but when Southern NH plumbing learned my furnace was acting up, and it was getting cold, they made time to come out within a few days to address the issue and do a regular maintenance service. The technician was super thorough, explained everything well, and did a great job. I am especially taken with their amazing customer service and willingness to help in a time if need.

A few hiccups at the start. The technician initially went to the wrong address, and once he got to the right property and checked the bathroom on the 3rd floor, we were told he would need access to the basement. We keep the basement locked, so I did end up having to stop working to meet him. I did bring up how it would’ve helped to know that basement access might have been needed when looking at an issue like this ahead of time as we could’ve left it unlocked.
The entire first half of the appointment was spent looking at the recently installed Navien system, which ended up not leading to any change. Once he walked over near the main line, the issue was fixed in about 35- 45 minutes. The plumber briefly explained the issue was a part that is usually found in older homes that kept the pressure low. After the job was complete, I was made aware that they charge by the hour not the job itself. We were charged for 3 hours, and the total came out to over $500.

They converted and hooked up a new propane stove for us. We had to reschedule twice because the delivery from the store we purchased it from was delayed twice. SNHPH was very understanding and had no problem fitting us into their schedule. They did a great job. We finally had a stove after 3 weeks.

This year, Charlie and Erik did our annual maintenance service on our oil boiler, which had been producing an unusual clicking noise for the past few weeks. (Charlie quickly identified the issue and efficiently resolved it.)
In all my 25+ years as a homeowner, I have never encountered technicians as meticulous and thorough as these two. Their attention to detail and expert workmanship demonstrated what truly exceptional service looks like. After some concerns following last year’s maintenance service, I now have complete confidence in SNH Plumbing once again, thanks to Charlie and Erik. Two thumbs up!

I cannot thank the team at Southern NH Plumbing enough for the basement solution they provided for us in August of 2024. They installed a commercial grade sewage backflow valve, while also removing a troublesome shower and toilet from our basement. Since 2006, waste water from the street has routinely backed up into our home in Manchester, NH whenever we had a very big torrential rainstorm. We always had to turn a manual backflow valve, and on occasion we were unable to, which led to water in our basement. Since August 2024, we have had a couple of such rainstorms, yet no water has backed up into our basement. We can now go on vacations with peace of mind that our basement will be dry. This is a real game changer for us. And last, we had other companies come out but no one else provided us with an affordable solution.
Also, we used Southern NH for a second issue recently. A pipe from our indoor pool plumbing (in our garage) sprung a leak. A tech came out and fixed the issue rather quickly, and after almost a week now, everything is running great.

After replacing small rubber part the technician said its all set. I was disappointed when the handle was wobbly even after he flushed it he knew it was loose. Just those little things to complete a job mean a lot.

I got three quotes for a failed central AC unit and conversion to a heat pump. Theirs was the best. Decided to to go with the heat pump and was totally impressed with the crew. They were very professional, knowledgeable and congenial. Inspection of my existing propane furnace showed cracks in the heat exchanger that would eventually need replacing. They were careful to ensure that I could see the cracks before making the recommendation to replace. Five star, ten of ten in my opinion.

I have used Southern NH Plumbing Heating & Cooling multiple times now and they are the only company I will ever call for our Plumbing and Heating needs. We've had them out for routine furnace cleanings or plumbing work, as well as an emergency visit on Christmas eve, and each time they have fixed our issues quickly and affordably.
