Worker showed up drunk at my house. Did not ask before installing components, then charged me for them. No show at least 3 times. Impossible to get a receipt for purchases or any type of time spent on the job accountability. The worst experience ever. Ask if they are licensed in Vermont, my search says no.

If I ever had one piece of advice it would be to NEVER hire Stan. Stay far away from Plumb perfect. Stan not only created a flood in my house but he left in the middle of it. I am so grateful someone in my unit noticed he left and I was able to get him to come back. After he stoped the flood and he left again without going over his work with me. When I went up to my shower there was a hole and no shower handle. Both were left on the ground. Horrified I called him and asked him to put the shower back how he found it. He told me I was wasting his time. On top of this if he ever did show for his appointment he was late and most of the time he never showed up. He also charged me $550 before ever fixing anything. All he did was cause a flood that he never even apologized for. Stan is also very rude, he was not only awful to me but my mother as well. After refusing to work with Stan anymore I hired Falcon plumbing and WOW they were amazing. They came and fixed the same problem Stan had been working on over the course of months in a matter of 30 minutes and only charged me $250 for everything. Please never hire Stan. He is a scammer and has no idea how to be a plumber.

Stan isn’t licensed(found this out today unfortunately). His rates are outrageous for sub par work. Billed out 6 hours to connect sink drain to the wall and the 2 water lines. He had 1-2 hours on site, the other 4 hours were back and forth to store because he couldn’t get it right the first, second, or third trip. Installed a sink in our rental. Also tried to tell me that he need power cord for dishwasher, when I knew it wasn’t needed as personally installed the power cord. He questioned me about it being there as he “didn’t see”. Left the place a mess with cuttings and shaving and pipe pieces all over. I showed up to check things out, turned the faucet on and the drain leaked instantly. So figured we’d check other things, glad we did as we found he never tightened the discharge hose from dishwasher to the drain. Glad we caught that, or could have had more water issues. My partner mentioned to him about finding the clamp not being tightened and his response was: “oh you saw that?. Trying to save others from this business.
What was subpar about my work? You were never there to check out my work. You asked me to get your tenant his kitchen sink on the Friday you called. I worked Saturday and Sunday to get them their sink. There was a challenge to get a badly rusted collar from a garbage disposal removed.
I have used Stan twice different issues the work got complete and no problems.
I just got off the phone with Stan and after saying "He knows everything there is to know.." and other things that are not allowed on these reviews, I would not hire Stan to watch my paint dry.
I should be allowed to express my recommendations or concerns about products that I install and concerns about products I am asked to install. Moen faucets have the largest need for repair. I like to stay with installing products that are the most up to date with the best features. Pull out faucets are out. Pull down faucets with altering sprays are in!! customers are now installing much deeper kitchen sinks with pull down spray faucets. I always recommend Delta, Kohler or Grohe
Stan the owner is not even licensed in the state of Vermont to do plumbing work. Don't hire Stan he will over charge you and you will get better plumbing work done if you hired a child. If you tell the owner no on something like to stop contacting you. Stan will still keep contacting you he does not leave people alone and he is very unprofessional. Texting me up calling me names and being so unprofessional. A 2 Year old child acts older and more professional than Stan. Don't hire this company he is a stocker and fake plumber.

When I was shopping for value and expert service for a water heater install I vetted this company. When I ultimately went with an actual licensed plumber (glad I did after reading these reviews), Stan repeatedly called, text and harassed me via phone. Don't walk, RUN from this lunatic.
I never did any work for you. You went with a different plumber. I was just do my normal follow up to get to help people out. If I didnt do work, you should not be disting me with a bad review. That is so wrong!!

Do not hire this guy. He has no license to run a business in Vermont and told me so personally. Came to my house to fix a problematic leaking toilet. They never looked the toilet or the situation over, just replaced the wax ring and charged me $280.00. The toilet ended up being cracked with very evident water leak marks. No matter how many wax rings were replaced it would have always leaked. Claimed they flushed it 6 times before they left. It never would have stopped leaking as it was cracked! During the conversations back and forth I was told that I was "so so stupid" and to "wake up and smell the coffee". I have to agree, I was pretty stupid to hire this man!
My guys tried to reset a toilet that the homeowner tried 3 times. We reset the toilet and flushed it 6 times and no leak. Mr. Wells claims the toilet leaked when he came home from work. This happened on Friday and he called me on Saturday. I offered to come out Monday morning and refund him $200. He cancelled our appointment. I did end up refunding him a $100.
Plumb Perfect was willing to do a tricky installation in a tiny space that other plumbers would not touch. Without them we would not be using our state-of-the art super high efficiency tankless water heater.

Wasn't getting hot water to my second floor, Stanley answered my call right away and arrived in a timely manor. Brian worked diligently to diagnose the issue. Even came back 30 minutes after leaving to tweak something else for me at no extra charge. They are very welcoming and informative. Definitely will be using them again!

I had a pipe break and NOBODY would help me, even RotoRouter wouldn't send anyone out to fix my broken pipe after a weekend of sub-zero temps. Stanley was the only one that made me a priority. I HIGHLY recommend his services. He was in and out within an hour. Amazing to deal with, and I live out in the middle of nowhere so it was a bit of a trek for them to say the least. I bought a toilet from Lowe’s who arranged for the installation by Plumb Perfect. While the process through Lowe’s was very confusing for everyone, once the installation was scheduled everything went very smoothly for me. The installer was very nice and professional. I highly recommend Plum Perfect.
I called around to all the local plumbing companies to get a heating system installed, and every shop I talked to had all kinds of reasons they didn't want to do the work - or why it might not work, or why they might have to back out, even if I got commitments from them to do the work - excuses, excuses, excuses! I called Stan and he sorted out how to get us up and running quickly, safely and under budget. Nice to work with a guy who likes to say "YES". His plumbers and their helpers were great guys to work with, thought on their feet to get the job done cleanly (Old house problems!) and were a pleasure to work with. Solid local business - old school Vermont 'Can do' attitude.

Had a kitchen sink plumbing issue, that called for a quick response. And while engaged, I figured also ask Plumb Perfect (sic) to swap out a disposal.
The cost charged for the replacement Disposal was more than fair.
5/8 Evolution Disposal and charged $269.00
Labor for what felt an hour was $270.
But the work done to shore the under-sink plumbing was not even close. Quickly apparent that while the pvc was replaced (to replace the fit to the sink itself) , unfortunately, I still have a necessary lobster pot to catch the leaking water.
My fault not to call immediately and request to have things squared.
I just recently, though, had an upstairs bathroom sink that I was hoping to have cleared up. And so the opportunity to get back in touch with Stan and ask: "Hey. I have this plugged bathroom sink, can you lend a hand, and in the meantime perhaps take a look at the still compromised kitchen sink."
Texts back and forth.
Stan indicated he would send somebody by at no cost.
And as quickly rescinded his offer.
After I had indicated I was absolutely willing to pay what I felt a reasonable rate, all things considered.
I would politely suggest that long term relationships and foundational plumbing -- not to be found.
I wish I were mistaken.
You did not discuss your problem with my guys. We solved your plugged bathroom sink at no charge. dont whine about a problem. Pick up the telephone and talk to me. I would have come onsite myself to fix the kitchen sink. What do we mean by shoring up the kitchen sink?? You should always make sure that everything is perfect before you let my guys leave your house. We are always in search of Excellence!!

once the work was completed the drain worked fine. but it was a real pain to get them to appear at home. firstly, the original appointed time was not kept because plumber forgot. a new time was set but he did not appear. then he said he would send someone else. we waited again for the new plumber to come. we waited for quite some time before someone finally appeared. i can understand that these people could be very busy, but a little courtesy and respect for our time would have been appreciated. a phone call is so easy make to update us on ETA. it was a good thing there was someone at home to let them in. after he had assessed what needed to be done, he said he would be back the next day at an appointed hour. he did come back the following day as he had said and completed the job.
The folks from Plumb Perfect were outstanding. They explained everything they were doing and were true professionals from start to finish. Both people wore masks throughout and were sure to clean everything up from their work. I have found my regular plumbers for sure with this vendor.
I started talking with Stan about a simple dishwasher installation and at first I found him helpful in answering my questions but when I was about to schedule him for the work he soon started belittling me for ordering my dishwasher through a certain provider and insisted that I needed to buy it from an appliance store. He then proceeded to imply that I was annoying because I had called him twice , once to see if he offered dishwasher installation and once to schedule. Wow. I soon found him extremely rude and felt that he would not be a professional technician/plumber to work with. We will not be using his services.

If I could leave zero stars I would. He was the most wildly unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. After trying to work with him on a small project for 7+ months I finally walked away and found someone else. He suggested I purchase fixture brands he previously said to stay away from, he then wanted to choose the fixtures for us instead of letting us choose them. (Are you kidding me??!!). He refused to work with certain bath/kitchen stores in the area as well as refusing to install certain fixture brands. At times he blocked my phone calls yet refused to correspond via email. When we did talk, his conversations were all over the place, he was constantly contradicting himself leaving us bewildered. He set a date to start the project but then when he never called to confirm the night before and I reached out to him, he said that the life of a "service" plumber means that he can't commit to any sort of specific work timeline. Meanwhile, the Better Business Bureau has an alert for his business indicating he does not have the necessary license from the Vermont Department of Public Safety. I think I dodged a bullet. Horrible, horrible.

He destroyed my bathroom and first floor with a simple bathroom vanity install.
Professionalism: The moment Stanley walked into my house he was criticizing anything his beady little eyes touched – from the fixtures we’ve chosen to the paint colors in the house to the painters we chose to paint the house (they were there working on the house simultaneously. He would go from bathroom to bathroom commenting on what needed to be changed and had a reason why.
Timeline: We hired Stanley to install a vanity (the old vanity was already taken out). It took him 5 days to install the vanity. 1 guy quit on him on the job – and even called him a thief in the process. Stan also complained how this was such a big job and there were so many connections.
Quality: Abysmal. He never connected the drain pipe so all of the water from the vanity was draining into my first floor ceiling and subsequently down into the basement. I needed to hire a real licensed plumber to come to my house and fix Stanley’s job. Additionally I needed to hire a contractor to fix the sheet rock that was damaged from the flooding.
DO NOT HIRE PLUMB PERFECT! You’ll get ripped off and will need to hire a licensed professional to come back and fix his mess.
Who deinstalled the vanity. When the vanity was unhooked, your guys loosened the drain pipe in the wall. Nothing we did, since I did not have xray vision. How dare you accuse me of something I had nothing to do with. Joel Gomes you are not the smartest bulb on the shelf.
I selected this plumber based on positive yelp reviews. Let's start with what he did well; he installed a new faucet and discarded the old leaking one on very short notice. Well done, thank you!
What was difficult for me was Stanley's attitude. He was downright offended and angry when I asked if I could select the new faucet that will be installed and lectured me on how he is experienced in designing kitchens for decades. All I wanted was to have a say in what design of faucet will be installed. He was insisting on using a particular brand and refused to install anything else. While I appreciate his experience, he never put the customer needs and wishes first in my dealings with him. In addition to this, the final invoice came in 50% over the original estimate provided by Stanley over the phone ($600 vs. $400). I thank Stanely for his work but will look for another plumber for future repairs. Thanks for reading!
was lucky enough to have the time to watch this fellow work. We had an ancient drain system with crazy upgrades by previous owners of home. He came in - quickly determined our needs and got us back to having a working drain. Biggest grin I have seen in a while when he got it done! So good to see someone who enjoys his work!! BTW: if you can fix it yourself he'll tell you so and how to do it over the phone!

While reasonably
priced, communication was very poor. On day one, he was two hours late with no call to let me know, and day two at an hour late I called him and he said he was just leaving his home. If your in a pinch for time, or require punctuality this review may be helpful.
I called Stanley because my boiler got red tagged and he jumped right on it and was over within a couple hours. He had his boiler expert Brian install our new boiler and he was extremely knowledgeable and we had everything done within a couple days.
Stanley had also installed a new toilet for us last fall. Did a great job and we are very pleased with both the boiler and toilet.
We had a water leak and needed a plumber immediately since our basement was flooding and we were out of town. Stanley was fabulous. He showed up right away and solved the problem quickly and efficiently and arranged all this with neighbors who let him in. We weren’t even customers of his, but he treated us as if we were valued customers. Neighbors reported he was a pleasure to work with. His rates are reasonable and he is just all around professional. Where can you get a plumber who will come ASAP? We were very fortunate to find Stanley. Thanks again.
Our furnace quit in January so scrambled to get replace requesting quotes from 3 companies with good reviews. Stan came out the next day and discussed all options and provided a quote 40% less than the other too and had it installed within a week. His plumbers we courteous and professional and kept us informed throughout

mysterious leak thru ceiling, when i shut off water inlet, that started leaking too, they were here and fixed both problems in just a few hours, professional and confident and knowledgeable and good price and responsive, and followed up afterward with text.
Sean & Mike were great! After looking at my bathroom they quickly determined I needed to have my shower head & faucet replaced, this was a relief because I thought it was a much bigger project.
Now I will totally admit I am kinda particular about the way things look in my house & they were more than happy to accommodate my requests. The guys had replacement parts with them & could have finished the job in a day or two but they went above & beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, even though it was more time & work. They even showed me a few websites they use so I could pick the replacement pieces that matched my bathroom style. I’m very happy with the work they did & highly recommended hiring them. I had a pipe spring a leak and was without water as a result. I called a few places and was told that I would need to wait 2-3 weeks OR pay insane overtime rates to have someone do the repair at night.
Then I called Stan, who told me that he’d have it fixed by 5 o’clock. I thought it was too good to be true, but sure enough he showed up, did great work, and charged me a fraction of what I was being quoted from other places.
I really can’t recommend Stan enough! If you’re here reading to see about having him do any work for you, fear not!

Stanley and his team did an excellent job of remodeling our master bathroom. With his guidance, the team crafted a beautifully designed bathroom. He was certainly knowledgeable of the kind and quality of the material to be used. He personally knew all the right people contacts in the supply chain. His team of tiles/plumber/carpenter was very fluid in their workmanship, which was nothing less than being perfect. Giusseppe did a great job with the wall and floor tiles. Mike and Sean team were great with the carpentry and plumbing. They all were very customer oriented. If at anytime there was a problem, these guys would jump on it till it was resolved and done it right to our satisfaction. The best part of Stanley and his team was they were very caring for the work they were doing - no cutting corners and to delivery the best quality workmanship. I would recommend this team in a heartbeat.
We contacted Stan, owner of Plumb Perfect on a Friday morning to install a new touch sensitive kitchen faucet and were surprised that he was able to do the job later that afternoon! He confessed he had not had the chance to install that particular type of faucet.... reviewed the directions, then removed our 20plus year old faucet (that was not easy!). In a total of about 90 minutes, the job was done!
Needless to say, we were most impressed with Stan’s professionalism and easy going nature! We will use him for our next plumbing issues with confidence and highly recommend him and his employees!
Had a pipe burst and a busted boiler Saturday 1/18. Sean and another gentleman (can’t remember name!) were very responsible, prompt, and professional about responding to the emergency call and getting us set up with space heaters to make it through until they could talk to their boss Sunday about whether they could fix it. No communication from the boss (Stan) until Monday around 5pm after about the 6th call to him that day, and he was inexplicably very rude. Long story short, they no showed 5/6 times after communicating with us and the landlord that they would be there. Finally had central heat and hot water again Thursday 1/23. No showed Saturday to “finish up repairs.” Come home today (Sunday) and they’re working in the apartment with no notice! I had left the door unlocked in the event that they called and nobody was able to make it home to unlock the door in time - certainly the last time I do that. Would avoid this company at all costs, unless you’re able to work with strictly Sean and the other gentleman.

Stan (the owner) is so incredibly helpful goes above and beyond what is asked. He is my go to plumber and has been for last 6 years! (Sorry it took so long to write the review) I couldn't ask for a more honest plumber. He will not make you get anything you dont need very down to earth.

We thought we had a bathtub leak (which later turned out to be a kid splashing in the tub too much). Stan and Allen came by and for 45 minutes investigated every single possibility of a leak. They were professional, courteous, and left no trace of their work. And when it became clear that there was nothing to do - they did not charge me a single cent.

Plumb Perfect installed a new bathroom in my house, and it came out great. They have also been very helpful connecting me with other contractors for an addition I am building.
My tenant contacted me on a cold Saturday afternoon that the heat went out. Vermont Gas came out and confirmed the heating system worked, but one of the pipes froze. I tried to get the pipe unthawed myself, but then a pipe burst! Stan immediately came over and took care of replacing the pipe. He came over the following day with a big heater to increase the heat in the room and also full flush out the pipes to make sure nothing else was freezing. His humor is funny and quirky.
Plumb Perfect installed a whole house water filter in my home. Stan arrived on schedule and completed the job quickly. Before ordering the components he questioned me thoroughly to determine how water was used in the home and my reasons for wanting the filter so that he could bring the right one. He really seemed to take an interest.
Plumb perfect installed a new electric water heater in an older home in South Burlington and did an excellent job. They were prompt and did exactly what was needed for the price promised. We would use them again!

Like other reviews here, very similar experience of grossly unacceptable, unprofessional behavior. Lost house key, became mad when we said we were no longer comfortable with him doing the job given that clearly irresponsible behavior -- insisted it wasn't a big deal, and people lose things all the time. Tremendously misogynistic, completely rude and lied about what he supposedly had already done when confronted with his own action. At one point he told us he "wanted nothing to do with people like us" and told my spouse she was a "mean, unkind person" for not "letting him" complete the work despite losing the key that would admit him to the house to do it. After the fact, he sent us an unprompted text message saying that "life is always easier and better when [he] refuses to work with generation x and the new millennials" -- so if you were not born before the late 60's, you may be ineligible for his poor services, FYI.
I very much recommend Plumb Perfect. Stan did a great job explaining the solution to remove mold behind the walls of the bathroom and redid the bathroom at a reasonable price! He has strong opinions, but respected my decisions.
We hired them to fix a leak in our bathroom. The guy they sent made a hole in our ceiling and then didn’t come back for more than a week. He couldn’t find the leak and after arguing with him, finally agreed to make the hole a little bigger to search for leaks. He left an even bigger hole in the ceiling and pretty much refused to come back to finish the work for another week. He agreed to do the dry wall as well, but did a really bad job. There’s air pockets all over the place that we have to repair with another company because of his shoddy job. So it took these guys three and a half weeks to complete a very simple job. To add to this, they claim they have an hourly rate, but that doesn’t include the rate they charge for their helper, who sits there and hands the guy tools. So they pretty much over charged us as well. I wish we had gone with someone else, cause these guys were slow, expensive and dishonest

I gave them a call with some rather obscure questions about how to maintain temperatures during water changes on a giant fish tank the gentleman who answered the phone fielded a few questions and then pointed me in the right direction was very knowledgeable of brands and also pricing I would most certainly do business here he knew what he was doing and those are the people I want installing my products.

Unfortunately, while my first experience with this company was wonderful because the two employees, sent by the owner, were wonderful and very professional...the owner himself is incredibly unprofessional. I think he means well at first, and wants to be a kind person, but after I finally hired another plumber because he didn't respond to me for 3 months after we needed him again, he sent me a childish text and acted as if he didn't know me and was confused when I responded. Incredibly unprofessional and perhaps challenged by some lifelong social habits he can't overcome.

Stan the owner is rude, demeaning and threatened me in my own home. He has now showed up a month after the job was done unannounced to my home. This man has also tracked me down and contacted me while I was at work. For whatever reason this man thinks I want to work for him. I've expressed that I don't want this man contacting me and yet I still get texts to my personal cell phone and calls well over a month after the job was in his words "completed". Recently I've found out that he has no inventory of his own, he buys things from local hardware stores then charges his customers more than he paid for the product. He also isn't a master plumber, when you let this man into your home you are at risk of a faulty installation. This man is a scammer and I would never recommend him to anyone.
"When I show up I do the job then"......showed up late, did not do work, so we rescheduled. Wife took the day off and after being 2 hours late she called and he said "forgot to write down appointment". Showed up later that day, fixed the problem and did not clean up after the job....wood chips,pieces of pipe and hanger left on floor. (Did not replace hanger taken down). I will give him some credit for reducing his quoted price for the time we needed to take off when he did not show. Nice enough guy if you don't mind being jerked around.
Stan and Mike are very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful he diagnosed quickly the problem and even though it wasn't a plumbing issue he calmed our fears.He also did a great job when we had a problem with the heater a few years ago.
Over the years Stanley and Mike have done an exceptional job installing a gas heater, a gas stove, and even fixing a leaky outdoor faucet. Today they came to fix a toilet within an hour of my call, which in my book exemplifies dedication. They are reasonable and personable and I would recommend them to anyone experiencing heating or plumbing issues.
Stan at Plumb Perfect is a gregarious and dedicated professional. I have a hot water valve in my shower I couldn't seem to get right, and after speaking to the manufacturer, taking the thing apart and back together multiple times, I still couldn't figure out how to get the water as hot as desired. On a follow-up phone call after doing some other work at our house, Stan diagnosed the problem and I was able to easily fix it immediately after we spoke. Thanks Stan!!
